Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan, (Sitara-e-Imtiaz)

Dr. Jamil Ahmed Khan, a distinguished diplomat, author, and international civil servant, was recently appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Senate at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology (FUUAST) by the President of Pakistan, the University’s Chancellor.

Dr. Khan has served Pakistan as an Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Libya, and Malta, where his diplomatic achievements were highly commended by the Government of Pakistan for strengthening foreign relations.

In his career with the United Nations, Dr. Khan held significant roles, including Chief Security Advisor in East Timor, Yemen, Oman, Somalia, Kenya, and Botswana. His work has been instrumental in advancing peace, security, and development in these regions.

As an author, Dr. Khan has published three impactful books on diplomacy, international relations, and geopolitical strategy, reflecting his extensive expertise. He is also an educator, serving on the faculty at New Westminster College in Canada, and frequently guest lectures at universities in Pakistan. His insights into global geopolitical issues are often shared on television, where they shape public discourse on key international matters.
